SierraScan is Sierra Bravo's barcode scanning solution
that uses this website to link wireless barcode scanning applications
to your business systems.
The SierraScan Restock solution consists of a
wireless barcode scanner with an integrated order capture application.
This web site serves as a management tool for the information that
is captured on the handheld scanner. Most of the data processing is
done on this web server in order to simplify the processing of the
data.
Orders captured on the SierraScan handheld scanner are
uploaded to this web site. The SierraScan server then sends
the orders to the supplier via email, FTP, EDI or XML. Both the suppliers
and consumers can log in to this site to view and modify the orders
that have been uploaded by the handheld device.
